Filtration

Venmar HEPA Filtration
According to indoor air quality experts, filtration and ventilation are the two most effective ways of improving indoor air quality and eliminating harmful pollutants.

HEPA Filtration cleans the air through different methods to avoid circulating the same airborne pollutants while ventilation bring fresh air from the outside into the home to dilute pollutants and replace stale air.

Dynamic Air Cleaners
Offering 97% capture efficiency at 0.3 micron sizes, Dynamic Air Cleaners feaure a unique air scrubbing combination of electrostatic polarization and activated carbon. With this patented technology, Dynamic Air Cleaners are providing clean, healthy air in thousands of commercial, hospital and residential applications throughout the world.

Frequently Asked Questions

How important is Air Filtration?

  • Protecting the general well-being of the occupants of a space
  • Protecting the decor of occupied spaces by removing the staining portion of airborne dust
  • Reducing maintenance of building interiors by reducing the frequency of washing such items as Venetian blinds and fluorescent bulbs
  • Protecting the contents of occupied spaces including paintings, tapestries, and other items of historic or cultural value
  • Elimination of fire hazards by removing lint and other materials which might accumulate in ductwork
  • Extension of shelf life of perishable dairy products by removing airborne mold during processing operations
  • Removing airborne bacteria from operating room air to help prevent postoperative infection.

How do the HEPA filters work?

These filters are rated at 99.99 percent efficiency for particles .3 microns in size (dust, pollen, and plant and mold spores). Developed by the Atomic energy Commission during World War II to remove radioactive dust from industrial exhaust, they are paper-like filters made of randomly positioned fibers that create narrow passages with many twists and turns. As the air passes through, particles are trapped, clogging holes and making the grid smaller, which enables the filter to be even more efficient with ongoing use.

    What Does HEPA stand for?

HEPA - means High Efficient Particulate Arrestor and is the final filter media and is rated at 95% capture of .3 microns including pollen, mold spores and minute dust particles. Most HEPAs use a woven glass material that does not rot or retain moisture.
